It’s been an incredible honour to work with imagery from the Rijksmuseum’s archives, bringing the work of the great masters from the 1500–1800s into the present.

By carefully selecting and reimagining historic details, we’ve created contemporary designs that carry the beauty and stories of the past into today’s interiors. Some elements in our wallpaper have been given a true rebirth, taken from artworks so delicate they are no longer shown to the public, but safely preserved in the museum’s archives.
